Parramatta Mission Centre for Faith and Public Issues - Public Forum

On Tuesday, 29 October 2019, the Centre for Faith and Public Issues within Parramatta Mission will be holding a day-long symposium on “Is Great ‘Good’ Enough?”.

This theme arises out of significant disciplinary and theological work done on what constitutes a ‘good’ city; it is also mindful of how Parramatta City is aspiring to become Australia’s next ‘great’ city. How do these two – the good and the great – exist alongside and in tandem with one another?

There will be 5 keynote addresses and 3-panel discussions.

The lunch will be hosted by Meals Plus, which is a facility of Parramatta Mission which seeks to feed those in need.

The evening meal will take place around Professor Andy Mark’s keynote address and will be held in the Peter Shergold Building, Western Sydney University.
