By Ashleigh Synnott

When the evening is just getting started, you need something a little different to get your all-nighter vibe on. Check out the following venues for some good times at night.

Kicks Bowling

For an evening of games and good fun Kicks is great value. There are loads of combo specials, delicious Americana meal options, and a killer games arcade featuring several state-of-the-art games, along with some classics such as Space Invaders, The Walking Dead, and Twin Moto GP. For late night kicks don’t forget the D Dark Ride, a multi-sensory interactive virtual reality experience that is world-class best. It’s the first simulator to blend a competitive interactive and reactive game into a 3D ride, where you can experience the thrill of up to 400 mind-blowing movements per second and up to 2Gs acceleration.

Scram Escape Rooms

Get ready for an evening of mystery and mayhem at Scram Escape Rooms. Your challenge is to solve the mystery in order to escape the room – not an experience for the faint-hearted. In the Wizard Room your aim is to find the magic wand, in the Doll House you’re trapped with life-sized toys, and in Cr-18 you have lost all contact with Mission Control. The whole experience takes just over an hour and a half and, located super close to Eat Street, this is the perfect option for a late-night group activity.

It’s just $10 for a totally funky, no ego, no strings attached dance session where you can get the week off to just the right note. It’s all about free, unrestricted movement so you can rock up, minus the tight duds, and just be yourself.
